Happy 5th Anniversary to us!

Thanks to an over-eager email filter, we barely made it in time, but with a little help from our friends, we just renewed reactionlab.com for the fifth year; that means it’s been five years since we officially started on our own.

We started out doing general graphic design for clients here in Vancouver as well as a few select web projects in Japan through our connections there, but we quickly realised our focus should be web interface design and development. We’ve worked hard to build our reputation, and a lot of great clients have given us the opportunities to work on some pretty exciting projects.

We’ve had our ups and downs as we learned how to run a business and grew our client base, but we’ve managed to post steady growth every year. In light of the current state of the world economy, the future is scary, but we firmly believe that a well-designed web presence will be a valued asset for any organisation. We hope to grow ourselves by helping our current and future clients grow their own businesses.

Although I’m the public “face” of this business, I want to say thank you to my partner (and wife) for her support running the business with me, and for keeping me organised and on target. We also have to extend our gratitude to all of our clients, without whom there wouldn’t be anything to say thanks for here. Finally, our greatest appreciation goes to our partner organisations, friends, and family, for their support over the years. I’m looking forward to the next five years and beyond!
